 Itinerary
Day.01Arriving at Lhasa Gongar Airport from Kathamandu or Chengdu, met and transferred to Lhasa city, you will visit the Stone Gaint Buddha en route. Check in the hotel( 3 stars), taking rest in the afternoon for high alititude. At about 16:00, drive to visit Tibet Museum to get a bird eye-view at Tibet Culutral and history!
 
 

Day.02

Getting up at about 8:00am , after using breakfast, drive to visit the wonder of the world---Potala Palace. Finish sightseeing at about 12:30, after using lunch outside Drive back to the hotel to take a rest. About 15:00, drive to visit Jokhang Temple-the most famous and oldest building in Lhasa. then visit Barkhore Street, the business center of Lhasa. The whole day visiting will finish at about 18:00, taking dinner and having rest afterwhile.

 
 Day.03Getting up at about 8:00am, drive to Trupeng Hill to visit Trupeng Monastery which is one of four great Gelugpa monasteries in Tibet. After sightseeing about 12:30, drive back to Lhasa and take rest afterwhile. Drive to visit Norbulingka---the Summer Palace for Dailai Lama.
 
 Day.04Drive 110km to Yamdrok Lake-one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery! Visit Sangding Monastery which is close to the lake, this is a unique monastery which has female living Buddha. Also Tibetan family visiting will be arranged along the way, overnight in Nangarze Guesthouse which is near the lake.
 
 Day.05Getting up early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful lake in dawn. Then drive to Gyantse-the hero city in Tibet. Visit Kumbuk Monastery and Zhongshan Relics Gyantse. Drive to Shigatse---the second city in Tibet in the afternoon.
 
 Day.06Visit Tashilunpo Monastery---the oldest and largest Gelugpa monastery in Tibet, the seat of Banchan Lama. After sightseeing, drive back to Lhasa city along the Lhasa river, The farewell dinner will be arranged at the Typical Tibetan restaurant to enjoy the local food with Tibetan dance& song show.
 
 Day.07Transferred to the airport and fly out.

Clothing and accessories equipment provided:
This route covers Gyantse, Shigatse, Tsedang, the tourism service supply condition is good in these three regions. Tourist needn't provide heavy equipment for this tour.The highest elevation is 4300m when you go through the two big passes when go from Lhasa to Gyantse.
One jacket: Fiber-jacket with cap is ideal for evening and going through the passes.
One thin sweater and one thick sweater: One thin sweater is versatile in Tibet, but when you go across the passes and the river, the thin sweater can keep you warm.
Cap, scarf, sunglasses, binoculars, water bottle.
Sun creams and lip balm: Sun block with a 15SPF rating or higher is recommended.
Small gift: you will regret not to bring some small gift from your home for the Tibetan children and women you meet on the road.
Money pouch or belt: safer than a wallet for keeping your passport, meny and valuable papers.
Snack foods: Nuts, chocolatebars, granolabars, dried fruit,hard candies, beef jerky, and flavored drinks mixes are much-appreciated trail treats.
Camera: A 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera with interchangeable lenses is the most versatile for creative travel photgraphy.

Hint for women:
shorts are not appropriate at any time in Tibet for lady. Sunglasses, sun crams and lip balm:Sun block with a 15SPF rating or higher is recommended.
