in Tsedang for she has been the place of origin of tibetan culture, also you will
see most popular sites in Tibet such as the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhore
street and Trepung Monastery. On the way from Tsedang to Samye Monastery you will
across the Yalunzangbu River by wooden ferry. | |

| | Day.02 | Take SZ 4401/SZ4403 dep.06:48/07:10.
It will take you 2hours from Chengdu to Lhasa airport. The guide will come to
pick you up and take you to Tsedang Town which is 220km in the south west of Lhasa
and with the altitude of 3500m. Tsedang is the motherland and original of Tibetan
culture. Check in Tsedang Hotel, the best hotel in the local town. Visit Yombulakang,
the first palace in Tibet then visit Changzu Temple (the Pearl Temple) & the
first farm Land in Tibet. | | |
| | | Day.03 | Drive
14km from town to the local ferry for taking the wooden skiff powered by a tractor
engine going through Yaluzhangbu River, then take the truck to Samye, the first
monastery in Tibet. Here you can enjoy the first monastery's history and the difference
architecture style between Tibetan, Chinese and Indian monastery. Then drive 220km
back to Lhasa. | | |
| | | Day.04 | Sightseeing
in Lhasa city at Potala Palace in the morning and Jorkhang Temple, Bakhore street
in the afternoon. Enjoy the Tibetan food for dinner and Tibetan folk singing &
dancing. | | |
| | | Day.05 | Visit
Tsepung Monastery, the biggest monastery in Tibet then visit the Tibetan carpet
factory. In the afternoon, tour at Sera Monastery & Norbulinka, the Summer
Palace of Dalai Lama. Both Tsepung and Sera Monastery are yellow sect of Tibetan
Buddhism. | | |

This
route is quite normal for the sightseeing tourist to Tibet, when planning your
clothing , remember to bring warm clothes for you will be in the elevation of
3650m.You don't need to bring special equipment for this route.
One jacket:
fiber-jacket is ideal for evening.
One sweater.wool or wool mix with a high
neck for extra warmth. Hint
for women:
shorts are not appropriate at any time in Tibet
for lady. Sunglasses, sun crams and lip balm:Sun block with a 15SPF rating or
higher is recommended.
Camera: A 35mm single-lens reflex(SLR) camera
with interchangeable lenses is the most versatile for creative travel photgraphy.
