- Nachu Horse Racing Festival

Every August is the
golden season in north Tibet grasslands. Thousands of herdsmen through to Nagqu,
form a city of tents There are thrilling horse race, archery, demonstrations of
horsemanship and commodity fairs. Song and dance troupes from all parts of Tibet
add to the fun. We would enter into Tibet along the safest route of Qinghai-Tibet,
and on the way we could also visit Qinghai Lake, which is the biggest salt lake
of China, Tuo Tuo River, the source of Changjiang River, and the most well known
monasteries and palaces of Tibetan Buddhism. All these above would let you get
a clear idea of Tibetan conditions and customs. | |
