Dujiangyan City to be the first in the western region counties to start a pm2.5 monitoring and release system. March 26, reporters from the Dujiangyan Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau was informed that the city has started the construction of three of pm2.5 monitoring point, and put into use after the real-time air quality reports.
Dujiangyan has been four air monitoring sites, pm10, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and other major air pollutants of national indicators to monitor and publish. February 29th Amendment of the State Council released the latest ambient air quality standards, the the Dujiangyan decided to take the initiative to the standard, will the pm2.5 into the quality monitoring system to the masses in real-time air quality monitoring report on the state.
Currently, the city has allocated more than 200 million purchase pm2.5 monitoring devices in urban areas of the two existing atmospheric monitoring point, "the Temple Park" and "new environmental building additional pm2.5 sampling and analysis system; Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Spot will also create a new monitoring sites, in accordance with the "GB" ambient air quality standards, monitoring indicators, covering the five meteorological parameters, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, pm2.5, pm10 and other projects from the original three to seven. The first three monitoring sites is expected to be completed within additions or new construction, and put into use, Dujiangyan City, through government websites, official microblogging, local media and scenic bulletin boards and other channels, the monitoring data per hour rolling announced.
Choice of the first monitoring point, "the Temple Park" is located in the main city of Dujiangyan ancient city core areas, the urban air quality conditions to show the most intuitive; "Green Building" is located in the new city of Dujiangyan , Dujiangyan rapid development of the region to monitor air quality situation; and Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan City Scenic Area, the real-time release of air quality also allows visitors a more intuitive impression on the local environment.
