[Notes]
(1) Mount Emei: Emei County, Sichuan in the southwest today.
(2) Ping Keung: river name, term of the present Qingyi, in the Emei Mountain East.
(3) Fat: Departure. Cheonggyecheon: refers to Cheonggyecheon Station, near Mount Emei in Sichuan Qianwei. The Three Gorges: refers to the Yangtze River Qutang, Wu Gorge, Xiling Gorge, in this Sichuan and Hubei provinces, at the junction. Leshan, Sichuan, said that one of the Lebanese head, back-e, Ping Keung Three Gorges, Cheonggyecheon in Lebanon upstream of the first gorge.
(4) Jun: means the Emeishan months. One that refers to the author's friends. Next: downstream down. Yuzhou: Chongqing area today.
[Commentary]
In a clear and crisp, bright moonlight night, the poet rode boats down the river from the Cheonggyecheon Station. Moon Shadow being reflected in the river, like a good friend, like the poet to accompany. However, from the stream to the Yuzhou journey, the moon always be blocked both sides of the mountains, so that the poet endless yearning.
