带着对故友（王维全）的挂念，我们来到木府门前，确未能见到其人。当地的纳西人对木氏土司“木老爷”极为崇敬，故而老式的门檐都修建得低矮，人从此过均要见“木”低头。我们的前辈徐霞客先生千辛完苦地游历到此，远见到修建得惶如京城皇宫般的宫殿，发出了由衷的感慨，提笔留下“宫室之丽拟于王者”之句。
街边饭馆偶遇两位大笑星___陈佩斯，哦！是长得很象陈佩斯的孪生兄弟。哥俩热情大方，相邀合影甚欢。
朝着钟鼓楼的方向拾阶而上，三顾“平价茶庄”。店主是位勤劳美丽的纳西妇女，在古城你可再也买不到比这儿便宜的茶叶了。云南红，兰贵人，荔枝红，千里香，黄金桂，满口香，糯米香，茶王，冷香… …，我们又是满载而回。

德昌的香瓜是绝对不能错过的，距德昌城外约几公里是正宗的香瓜产地，香甜可口，味道甘美，离开这两三公里的地带的香瓜就不是哪个味道了，每每从此经过必带上10多斤回家。我俩径直走进瓜地，看着遍地的香瓜胃口大开，手起刀落，四五个香瓜进肚，哪个解渴啊！老乡帮我们挑剔般摘瓜一堆，一过称近20斤，塞满了可以装入的地方，再将所剩一阵风卷入胃，哈！上路直奔西昌。
傍晚7时许，我们沿邛海边的湖滨大道进入西昌城，还是住在281招待所。清洗掉一身的征尘，闻着淡淡的香瓜味，进入甜美的梦乡。
第九天（5月8日）全天行程约560公里一早起床，天空如碧，阳光明媚。走出西昌踏上回家的路，愉悦的心境伴随着轻松快意，我们只用了2个小时就翻过了托乌山，12时许再次来到汉源九襄镇。 5斤樱桃当做了老婆的午餐，一直吃到了雅安。经历5500多公里的艰苦跋涉，下午7时许，我们安全地回到了阔别8天的家。
