驱车沿新修好的柏油路进入魔鬼城，导游简单向我们介绍了雅丹地貌的形成，并给我们指出当年张艺谋拍电影《英雄》的外景地，同时告诉我们我国著名科学家、中科院副院长彭加木失踪的地方仅距此5公里，无人区罗布泊距此直线距离也仅200公里。
听着导游的介绍，车子会带你到“金狮迎宾”、“孔雀开屏”、“狮身人面”、“战舰出行”、“比萨斜塔”等几个景点，规定时间让你下车游览。烈日当头，尽管温度很高，但我们都希望尽量在这片黑戈壁上走得更远一些、看得更多一些。
走在茫茫黑戈壁中，大家无不被被这片独特的雅丹地貌规模和形态所震撼。大自然的水流与风力的刻蚀，经千万年、亿万年，在这一地方塑造出千奇百怪的地质形态。有人说这些地貌象一座中世纪的古城，有城墙、有街道、有大楼、有广场、有教堂、有雕塑、维妙维肖，形态之奇异实属罕见。而我则更觉得它象一座古老的王国。这些大自然的杰作，堪称鬼斧神工，奇妙无穷。
朋友一个让我多捡些“风棱石”带给他们的短信，发动了我们集体捡“风棱石”的热潮，很多人都捡了不少“风棱石”。 “风棱石”是雅丹特有的石头，风化的石头经过千百年风沙吹打，已经变得没有棱角，握在手中，犹如油浸一般光滑圆润。随便捡起一片土块，就比人类的祖先还要古老，真是送人不可多得的好东东。
战果是属我捡得最多，一大袋足足有四五斤重。并且这还是在扬扬一再偷偷丢弃之下，否则可能真的要把背包装满了。用扬扬的话说，雅丹的石头都让我捡没了！ Ha ha!
回到景区入口的大厅看了记录片，对雅丹地貌的形成有了更深入了解。旁边还有个图片展，看后才发现我们走的只是景区中很短的一段路线，如果可能最好能租辆吉普车进入戈壁深处，观看更多、更神奇的景观。即便如此，我们也都认为这次来回300多公里的雅丹魔鬼城不虚此行，堪称此次行程的经典之一。
下午2：00左右从雅丹返回，回途中游览了汉长城和河仓城。
汉长城在玉门关以西5公里处，为一段独特的用板土芦苇筑成的汉代长城遗址，几千年来，它至今仍基本保存完整，让人惊叹不已。
河仓城位于玉门关(小方盘城)东北13公里处，俗称“大方盘城”， 是汉代玉门关守卒的粮仓。城呈方形，经过千百年的风蚀四墙皆坍，仅存东、北墙残基155×150米及四角角墩，虽仅存断垣残壁，但当年气势犹存。
河仓城旁有一芦苇塘在盛夏或深秋是摄影的好地方，由于我们到时芦苇刚刚泛绿，景色不佳，随便拍了一些。芦苇塘盐碱地的小飞虫不可不防，此小虫穷凶极恶可随着人走围绕攻击，我深受其害，脖子上被连咬了三个大包。

5月3日（嘉峪关、魏晋壁画墓、天下第一墩）
早晨5点起床，天还很黑，5：30退房出发赶往嘉峪关。
清晨，再次观赏了大漠戈壁日出的壮美景观。
敦煌至嘉峪关385公里，一路上饱览大漠戈壁风光。经过安西、锁阳、玉门镇，车行六个多小时，于12点到达嘉峪关。
吃过午饭已1：30，仅剩半天游览时间，与大家商量后决定先到魏晋壁画墓游览，再游嘉峪关关城，如果还有时间再去天下第一墩和悬臂长城，黑山岩画决定放弃了，事实证明我们的决策十分正确。又与司机赵师傅和旅游社的王小姐商量后，我们按计划先到魏晋壁画墓游览。
车行半个小时就到达了魏晋壁画墓，门票31元/人，魏晋壁画墓目前只有六号和七号墓室对游人开放，有导游带领下墓穴参观讲解。
魏晋壁画墓位于嘉峪关市东北20公里处的新城乡戈壁滩上，目前已发现有1400多座砖墓群，多是魏晋时期（公元220-419年）的地下壁画，规模庞大，有“世界最大的地下画廊”之称。 1972—1979年先后发掘了13座，其中有8座是彩绘砖壁画墓，共出土壁画砖700余块。
导游带领我们参观的是七号墓，进入墓室，墓室分为前、中、后三个部分，都是用砖块垒砌而成的，墓门上有雕云纹、水火图等图案，地面铺以各式花纹砖，墓室四壁为彩绘砖画，砖画为一砖一画，内容主要有：耕种、采桑、狩猎、宰杀、宴客、博弈、出游等等，主要为表现劳动人民生产生活和墓主人奢侈豪华生活。据介绍，这些砖画已存在1700多年，早于莫高窟壁画，尽管有些砖画已部分褪色，但依旧十分精美，为魏晋时期绘画艺术的经典代表。一边听解说，一边近距离观赏这些价值连城的文物，使人真有一种犯罪的冲动，呵呵！
六号墓和七号墓的砖画图案和风格大致相同。参观了墓室，我们又参观了进门处的博物馆，里面收藏着很多从古墓中出土的文物，主要反映了魏晋南北朝时期人民的生活形态。这里尤为一提的是，五号墓中出土的砖画《驿使图》，后来被当作中国邮政标志的样本。
3点钟左右参观完毕，我们前往嘉峪关关城。其实我们在从敦煌来嘉峪关的路上就远远看见了关城。
嘉峪关关城位于嘉峪关市区西南6公里处，城关两侧的城墙横穿沙漠戈壁，北连黑山悬壁长城，南接天下第一墩，是明代万里长城最西端的关口，自古为河西第一隘口。关城始建于明洪武五年（1372年），因地势险要，建筑雄伟而有“天下第一雄关”之称。
嘉峪关门票60元/人，贵！学生票半价，但查得很严，需要本人持学生证检票进门。进大门之后有个人造湖，走几分钟绕过湖才是进入关城的城门。我队的有些FB份子连这几分钟的路也懒得走，竟然还坐车到城门，FB呀！
我开始安排在关城游览一个小时，后来改为两个小时。进入关城后，发现里面的游人很多。登上城墙，沿四周转一圈，通过垛口向外观看，城外皆为浩瀚的戈壁，远处的祁连山雪山连绵起伏，风景十分壮观。
穿过最外一道城门，走出关城，出来后发现此门为正门关楼，关楼上刻有“嘉峪关”三个大字。
早就听过，嘉峪关与山海关、居庸关齐名，名列万里长城诸关之首。然而，嘉峪关之雄，非山海关、居庸关可比之。此时站在戈壁滩外，夕阳斜下观嘉峪关，在周围大漠戈壁，背后连绵雪山的衬托之下，才发现嘉峪关城的挺拔与险峻。此时此地，才感觉久闻的嘉峪关大名果然名不虚传。此处亦是拍照的好地方，我们在此流连忘返。
回去时匆匆游览了嘉峪关博物馆，但门票中还包含的“奇石馆”没有时间参观了。
6点钟大家都比较准时回到车里，我们决定放弃了“悬臂长城”，并向下一个目标“天下第一墩”进发。
天下第一墩，位于嘉峪关关城南7公里处，与祁连雪峰隔河相望，是明代长城西端第一个台墩起点。第一墩由明代甘肃镇肃州兵备道李涵筑于嘉靖18年（1539年）。原台长、宽、高均为14米，呈正方形棱锥体，后来部分岸壁塌毁，只有现存的台墩依壁而立。
第一墩由于风化目前只剩一个巨大的土墩，用围栏围着，背后有些低矮的土墙，只带点象征意义。旁边就是讨赖河大峡谷，路被挡死无法下去，因此长城由此起点。
天下第一墩门票11元，讨赖河大峡谷十分好玩，几十米高的峡谷边上悬空建有一观景台，并且观景台的地面全部铺为钢化玻璃，战战兢兢走在上面向下往去，可见谷地河水，十分刺激。
观景台台旁现已修建一条跨越河谷的索道，在苦瓜MM的带领下，大家鱼贯尝试。悬空乘索道过河谷的感觉十分刺激，而且不用折返游览路线。索道30元/人。
第一墩旁有个影视基地，兵营、擂台、战鼓、了望塔、梅花桩应有尽有，还可在此穿古装盔甲照相。大家在此尽情游玩，乐不思蜀，一直到太阳快落山了，八点多才离开这里（西部和北京约有两个小时的时差）。
在嘉峪关我们住的是火车站附近的铁道宾馆，标间也是100元，干净整洁，比较满意。由于明天我们要换车上七一冰川，赵师傅明天就要回敦煌了，所以晚上我们邀请赵师傅一起到市内和我们吃饭。
几天了终于正经到餐馆里点菜吃饭，这一顿非常丰盛。大家感谢了赵师傅几天来的辛苦，同时也预祝我们的行程圆满成功。
饭桌上接到铁道宾馆张小姐给我打来的电话，我委托她帮我们订的兰州回北京卧铺票已经搞定了，毕竟是铁道宾馆呀（其实敦煌旅行社帮我们订的票也是通过她订的），最后的问题也终于解决了。
吃完饭队员们分别补充明天上七一的物资，我回宾馆取票。取票时，我又意外的从张小姐手里买到了30元/张七一冰川的团体票。七一冰川以前不收门票，近几年开发后，从今年五一正式对外开放，门票51元/人。
另外，从张小姐那里也了解到，由于七一冰川的正式开放，嘉峪关铁路还特意开通了嘉峪关至七一冰川的火车专线。每天早晨7：54――10：30，下午返回17：00――19：10，并且往返车票才9块钱。如果参加她们旅行社的80元/人七一冰川一日游，她们还有专车接送，保证你能赶上晚上20：38去兰州的酒钢红星号火车。给需要的驴子们提供些资料参考：

5月4日（七一冰川）
早晨4：45起床，服务台退房并存好包，张师傅已经在楼下等着我们，我又再次确认了车费800元回来再付，一切没有问题，5：30准时出发前往七一冰川。
七一冰川位于嘉峪关市西南的祁连山中，因为是由中苏两国的地质人员在1958年7月1日发现的，故取名为“七一冰川”。距嘉峪关市130公里，是亚洲离城市最近的冰川。冰川的冰舌部位海拔4300米，冰峰海拔5150米，冰川面积达5平方公里，冰层平均厚度78米。
嘉峪关至七一冰川的路多为山路，比较难走。虽然嘉峪关政府为开发七一冰川旅游资源，近两年不断投资修路，但这条路下雪后还是不能上山。据张师傅讲，他五一还上过七一冰川，但由于这几天下雪，路太滑，昨天上七一冰川车半途全下来了。随后他安慰我们，昨天天气好路上雪化了，今天上去应该没有问题了。
今天我们看到的日出不同于往常的日出，太阳在戈壁滩上升起，朝霞映红了背后的祁连雪山和戈壁滩，与高原雪山上的日照金山相比，景色别有不同。清晨的戈壁滩还是很冷的，照了几张照片后，手就被冻得通红。
今天我们的运气不错，天气非常好，路上的积雪也融化的差不多了，很快车子就盘旋在祁连山脉中。大雪覆盖着连绵群山，对于有些第一次见到雪山蓝天的队员来说一直兴奋不已，结果我们不止一次的要求张师傅停车拍照，雪地上还看到很清晰的动物脚印。
车子一直在山路上盘旋，经过“土大阪”、“吊大阪”，翻过一个海拔4000米的垭口，三个半小时后，我们于9：00到达七一冰川脚下的接待站，队员们在此稍作休整。
在这里我们有幸也遇到了嘉峪关市旅游局的李局长，并与之交谈。李局长说我们是今天到的第一批游客，今天天气非常好，我们一定可以登上去。同时他也提醒我们，爬到冰舌后没有装备不要轻易上冰川，最近下雪，冰缝被雪盖住不容易发现。李局长说，前些时候他们刚从十几米深的冰缝中救上一名登上游客，好在他中途被卡在冰缝中没有滑到底。
经过几天的接触，我已知道我的队员们大多户外活动经验不足。因此，反复叮嘱大家一定要结伴、量力而行，如果有队员高原反应严重要自动下撤到车里等待。由于我也没有安排登顶计划，所以也就不允许队员私自上冰面登顶，这次我们的目标只是海拔4380米的冰舌。
9：45，在海拔3600米的停车场，我们照过集体合影后，开始沿一段新修建的水泥台阶路上山。台阶上依然覆盖着积雪，雪比较厚，还没有融化，所以上山的路还不是很滑。
一开始就要沿台阶直上，有的队员比较吃力，好在这段台阶路不长。从台阶上来后向左拐，沿小路开始上行，由此，队伍马上自动分为ZN组和FB组。
ZN组一意孤行在前、随后是唐唐、如意柿柿MM、苦瓜MM、我和扬扬、琦琦、文子夫妇还有我们的司机张师傅。阿忠、阿清夫妇由于没有准备墨镜，虽然想加入ZN组，但最终还是进入了FB组。至于FB组的队员，呵呵，俺就不说了。
登七一冰川的路已经被开发的比较好走，一路多半是在盘山小路中缓慢上升。路面上积雪较多，好在我们是第一批登山者，雪还未被踩实，不是很滑。羊肠小道曲曲弯弯十分漫长，走着走着ZN组也拉开距离。
一意孤行的身体素质都比较好，是头猛驴，走得很快，一个人走在最前面，开始还看得见，过了一会儿就只能看到跟随他后面的唐唐了。
唐唐是个在校研究生，比较年轻，小伙子有冲劲儿。看着他让我想起我们学生时代那会儿初生牛犊不怕虎，穿越野三坡百里峡的感觉。
如意柿柿和苦瓜两个MM开始还在一起走，后来苦瓜MM称自己出现了高原反应，坐在路边休息，实在不行她会自己返回。苦瓜MM虽然喜欢户外活动，但看得出她锻炼的机会并不是很多，呵呵。
如意柿柿MM的身体素质也不错，没有出现高原反应，感觉就是参加户外活动的经验不多，但经常锻炼，多参加户外活动，一定也是个登山徒步的好手。
没想到的是琦琦、文子夫妇登山速度也不慢，俩人走得很轻松，琦琦称这是她一直坚持练瑜珈的结果。
我的LP扬扬由于近一年一直没有参加什么锻炼，身体大不如徒步虎跳和稻城之行，走一段就需要休息，途中出现了胸闷气短的高原反应，我只能一路陪她在队尾照顾她。
张师傅是个我们年龄差不多的小伙子，他说每次爬七一冰川都是半途而归，这已经是他第三次爬七一冰川了，他表示这次一定要和我们爬上去。
在我们行程的后半段，长天一个人大步赶了上来，原来超人MM由于高原反应在后面休息了，长天只好一个人追赶我们ZN组了。
路程的后半段要沿大石堆砌的台阶路上山，山路越来越陡，海拔上升幅度较大，稀薄的空气令人头晕头疼，这时也是最考验体力和意志的时候。扬扬在这段高原反应更加严重，几乎是十步一歇，但在前面的如意柿柿MM和司机张师傅的不断鼓励之下，她终于登到了海拔4380米的冰舌，历时两小时十五分钟。
ZN组最快的猛人一意孤行仅用了一个多小时就到了这里，实在是一猛人。
站到高处仔细欣赏我们不辞辛苦为之而来的七一冰川，在湛蓝的天空下，晶莹雪白的冰川如银河玉带般由冰川顶峰平铺而下，白得令人窒息。遥望顶峰，被白茫茫的积雪覆盖，光滑如镜。
我们纷纷举起相机和这一壮美的冰川合影留念。
看到冰舌处支着两三顶帐篷，一问才知原来是一队北京绿野的昨天上来扎营，今天正在登顶，不由得佩服他们的壮举，默默祝福我们的北京驴友们登顶成功。
冰舌终点原本雕刻的“青山不老，白雪为头”的石碑现已坍塌，石碑上的字已模糊不清。
在一高处我们开始集体合影，发现长天不知什么时候已经下去了。我们7人刚刚合影完毕，这时候苦瓜MM也上来了。原来她经休息后，感觉高原反应有些缓解就又坚持继续爬，虽然她一直没有看到我们队伍的影子，但是凭借顽强的意志一直在追赶我们，最终她克服高原反应如愿以偿登到冰舌。
证实了后面已经没有人再上来后，一意孤行、唐唐、如意柿柿MM、苦瓜MM、琦琦、文子夫妇及我和扬扬我们ZN组8人又重新合影留念。
12：35我们开始下山。路上的积雪开始融化，有些湿滑，但毕竟没有了上山的痛苦，相对比较容易。一个小时后我们就回到停车场。
回到山脚下的接待站，发现FB组的队员们早已下来休息。 FB组的队员们不同程度的均出现了高原反应。超人MM高原反应最利害，一直在接待站里躺着休息。起来后我发现其脸色惨白，精神状态不佳，高原反应依然没有减轻，并开始呕吐。唐唐可能是由于上山、下山活动过于剧烈，此时也出现呕吐现象。看到这一状况，我决定立即下山，海拔低了高原反应不治自愈。
车上我们事先为超人MM准备了塑料袋，一路上她还是不停呕吐。唐唐的情况要好些，上车后一直在休息。回到嘉峪关市内后两人的情况才见好转。但是超人MM自此落了个“海拔表”的新名字，呵呵！
五点半我们就回到了铁道宾馆，由于时间比较富裕，约定好火车站候车室的集合时间，队员们自由活动。由于今天登山出汗较多，后面的两个晚上又都要在火车上度过，所以我和扬扬选择了开一个小时钟点房洗澡换衣服。
很舒服的洗了热水澡，到外面的川菜馆吃了晚饭，才来到候车室。
20：38上了开往兰州的T658次火车，中铺185元。
火车上俺又辛苦的开始算帐，由于唐唐有学生证，所以一些门票他买的是半价票，有的门票又出现买15免1的情况，另外由于唐唐、阿彬、一意孤行到兰州后离队，不用买回程票等等，这些不能平均支付的因素使我的帐算了N次才得以算清。暗自叫苦之后决定，下次活动一定找个CFO负责帐目。
最后公布帐目，大家没有异议！
5月5日（兰州）
经过一夜的颠簸，早晨6：52我们到达兰州。
唐唐的亲戚在兰州，唐唐和阿彬与大家分手去探亲戚。
超人四人也要到市内见个朋友，暂时和大家分手。
一意孤行决定白天和大家一起在兰州逛，购晚上的火车票去西安玩两天。
由于我们是晚上七点的火车，所以今天的时间较为充裕，计划在兰州市内休闲逛逛。记得俺以前的青海湖、塔尔寺之行，回程也是在兰州休整，所以今天俺成了大家的导游。
剩下的九人我们首先把大包寄存，然后打车去兰州最有名的“马子禄牛肉面”馆吃牛肉面（另外一个叫“金鼎牛肉面”，火车站附近有分店）。来这里吃牛肉面的人大部分是当地人，人很多，排队到门口。牛肉面4元/碗，牛肉16元/斤。吃过正宗的牛肉面感觉就是不一样，大家都说比北京的马兰拉面强很多。兰州的牛肉面有“一清、二白、三红、四绿、五黄”五大特点，我感觉牛肉面味道的正宗主要体现在所浇的牛肉汤和最后泼的那两勺红红的辣油上。这里的酱牛肉味道也十分棒，真想带两斤回北京，考虑到天气热怕坏的原因，只好作罢。
这里距中山铁桥很近，吃完牛肉面后，我们步行不远就来到黄河岸边。沿着黄河岸边走3、5分钟就来到中山桥。中山桥也称黄河第一桥，它是黄河上游第一座铁桥，是兰州市内标志性建筑之一。据说五一过后黄河铁桥将封闭修缮。
过黄河铁桥，就是兰州著名的白塔山公园（门票5元），登上白塔山，可俯瞰兰州全貌，不过兰州因南北两面是高山，挡住了风，兰州城就窝在狭长的河谷地带，极不利于污染物的扩散，因此兰州一年四季总是灰蒙蒙的。
白塔山上还有个碑林，进入需要另购门票，好象是6元。进去后大呼上当，对于俺这个不喜欢书法的人来说，参观这里简直是受罪！在碑林竟然遇到了唐唐和阿彬，呵呵，兰州真是很小！
超人发来短信，他们在五泉山公园玩，但人巨多，也没啥意思！
公园实在没啥意思，苦瓜MM要求离队，自己去市内逛了。
我们坐跨越黄河的缆车（下行8元）回到南岸，沿黄河岸西行1公里就到了兰州著名的水车园（门票2元）和黄河母亲雕像（水车园西行1公里）。由于黄河枯水，水车只有一架在转动了。黄河母亲雕像前游人很多，匆匆拍了照片就离开了。
阿乔和阿敏两个MM也去逛商场了。剩下的我们六人为了找吃“炝锅鱼”最有名的“吉祥斋”，顶着烈日，不辞辛苦的走了一个多小时，最后走得大家实在没有力气了，只好随便找了一家“炝锅鱼”的餐馆。我们都饿坏了，这顿“炝锅鱼”足足吃了两个小时。下午去雁滩公园的计划只好作罢。
买了兰州有名的工艺品“雕葫芦”，又到超市采购了一些火车上的FB物资。
回到火车站，取行李，和一意孤行告辞，登上回北京的T76次火车（上铺365元）。
18：56，火车准时开出……
5月6日（火车上）
火车上大家依然沉浸在这次愉快的旅途中……
下午16：30火车到达北京，大家依依惜别。
