Shanghai office of international environmental organizations, since 2001, has sent 16 volunteers to participate in environmental protection work of West Zhejiang Grand Canyon. The volunteers were some of Britain's University of environmentally friendly professional students. They live and eat to live in the Grand Canyon, whose main tasks are: to help improve environmental protection, scenic work; inspected the source valleys of water resources and water quality; investigation scenic species; to pick up tourist garbage; through surveys, master raw materials, to explore the protection of the ecological environment effective measures.
